Help me give my students the world of color that they live in by enabling them to print and see colorful pictures.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our world is a colorful, beautiful place and my students love hands on learning. A color printer will enhance student learning by making the photos more vibrant and realistic. We can take pictures and print them so that the students can connect their learning to their every day life. The posters posted around the classroom will feature the students themselves involved in their learning.

I would love to have a color printer where I can take photos of the students every day hands on learning and display them in the classroom for them to see!

Our class will also publish a book this year and the color feature will enable us to print our cover and title pages so that the students can boldly be featured in them. With a color printer they will not only be authors, but they can also become the main character and the illustrator in their own stories.

The printer that I have selected will be economical in my classroom because of its echo tank feature. I will not have to constantly replace costly ink cartridges. The Echo tank ink will go further to last our class the whole school year. The Echo tank ink is also more affordable and will be beneficial when the ink needs to be replaced.

My students are special because they love hands on learning and love to explore! They love to get messy. They are also a diverse population of students mainly of Hispanic and African American decent. There are not enough books that represent these underserved populations and with this printer my students and I can write one of our own that represents US!
