I'm requesting these items to teach my students with autism skills that will benefit them in the future. The benefits that a coffee cart can help them are vocational and social skills, independence and responsibility, functional academics, community integration, and self-esteem and confidence building.
The donations to this project will give my students learning opportunities.
This project will allow the students to interact with others and learn vocational skills and other skills for their future.
My students are mostly Hispanic from low-income households, who are eager to explore and learn. With the coffee cart, they will have the opportunity to explore those areas.
