My Project

Help Provide Social-Emotional Supports and Tools for Special Education Students

Hello!

I am a dedicated special education teacher working with an amazing group of students who face various challenges, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional and behavioral difficulties. My goal is to create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment where all students can thrive both academically and emotionally.

To achieve this, I am seeking funding for essential social-emotional learning (SEL) tools and resources. These include calming sensory items, SEL curriculum materials, and mindfulness activities designed to help students manage their emotions, build resilience, and develop positive social skills. With your support, I can provide my students with the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Why This Project Matters

Social-emotional learning is crucial for the overall development of students, particularly those with special needs. By integrating SEL into our daily routine, we can help students improve their self-awareness, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills. These resources will not only enhance their academic performance but also contribute to their long-term well-being.
