Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine trying to express how you feel or what you know and not being able to communicate due to a lack of language.

My preschoolers don't all have the language to express how they feel.

With this project, your support, and donations of a variety of emotionally calming and sensory materials, my students will have the opportunity to become more expressive and sensitive to their emotions. These materials will teach my students problem-solving strategies and will help them to process their emotions, as well as self-regulate when they are not feeling their best. This will allow students to regulate their interactions, thus, helping them build positive lifelong relationships.

The speaker will provide soothing music, as the essential oils air fresheners, will create a calming ambiance, where the students can feel relax, and self soothe.
