Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Nothing is more rewarding for a teacher than seeing her students "hungry" for knowledge.

The whole nation is aware of the the challenges our education system is facing these days.

This is especially true in California. My students are faced with budget cuts left and right, it is as though everyone is giving up on them. Well, I refuse to give up on my students and I know that just like me, there are many out there who refuse to throw in the towel. Together we can face any adversity.

My Project

I am requesting chapter books that will awaken my students' imagination and curiosity. Books that are not only entertaining, but that will also challenge them as scholars and inspire their creativity. Creativity that will enlighten them in every academic area.

The material that I am requesting is material that will not only impact my class this year, but it will be used over and over for many years to come.

After all, a book is a universal tool, and a very powerful one.
