We are such a wonderful and special charter school that focuses on academic excellence and character building. We are a Montessori school with a gifted and traditional learning environment as well! Our goal is to educate the whole child. It is crucial to understand and know each student and meet them all where they are emotionally, mentally, and academically. My students are so very special to me. They are inquisitive, caring, diverse and eager to learn and engage. I am so proud to educate and lead and mold their little minds.
My Project
This project will bring technology into the classroom! Each child learns differently. My students will use programs like Scholastic Literacy Pro (an online library with comprehension checks), Khan Academy Kids, Savaas Realize (math games and practice), tools for research and some fun math apps!
By bringing technology into the classroom, the students will have one more resource to help them learn and grow!
The students will also learn how to use technology in a responsible way. My goal is to teach the students how to work independently and sufficiently!
