My Project

I am constantly amazed by my students' enthusiasm and their thirst for knowledge. They bring a rich diversity of perspectives and a deep willingness to engage with complex subjects. A class set of "The Stranger" by Albert Camus will play a crucial role in broadening their intellectual horizons. This novel will help students explore existential themes and philosophical questions, enhancing their critical thinking and analytical skills. By engaging with Camus' work, students will learn to articulate their thoughts more clearly and develop a nuanced understanding of human existence and morality.

The specific items—copies of "The Stranger"—will make a significant difference in their learning by providing them with direct access to a classic piece of literature.

Having their own copies allows students to annotate, reflect, and revisit the text as they delve into discussions and projects. This hands-on approach not only boosts comprehension but also encourages a more personal connection to the material. My goals for this project include fostering a deeper appreciation of literature and encouraging students to engage in meaningful discourse about the philosophical themes presented in the novel.

What makes my students special is their resilience and eagerness to learn despite various challenges. Their desire to understand and connect with the world through literature is truly inspiring. This project will empower them to explore complex ideas, enhance their critical thinking skills, and ultimately prepare them for future academic and personal endeavors. By supporting this project, you are helping to cultivate a classroom environment where curiosity and intellectual growth are celebrated.
