Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, I foster a love of learning by providing engaging, hands-on experiences that bring history to life. For our upcoming informational unit, my students will research influential historical figures. To support their research, I am requesting books about these remarkable individuals. These age-appropriate resources will help them understand the lives and accomplishments of these extraordinary figures.

Access to these books will not only enhance their research skills but also encourage critical thinking as they analyze the impact of these individuals on society.

With these resources, my students will be able to create accurate and engaging presentations, transforming their informational reports into museum exhibits and memorable experiences for themselves and their audience.

My 4th and 5th graders are eager learners with a strong curiosity about the world. This project aligns perfectly with their enthusiasm and dedication, allowing them to explore the lives of their chosen figures. They thrive on opportunities for exploration, creativity, and presentation. The museum project combines research, creativity, and public speaking, helping them develop valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom.

These books will not only support their academic growth but also empower them to become storytellers of history.
