My Project

Our school is the first and only tuition-free autism-focused charter network in our state. Since opening our first campus in 2014, we have offered best-practice programming for children at all levels of the autism spectrum.

Our program is grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help students overcome behavioral and communication challenges and to acquire skills to be successful in a school environment.

We are focused on each student's individual growth by using data-driven instruction. AZACS also offers STEAM and project-based learning and has been recognized nationally for its innovative programs.

At AZACS, every student has unique needs that call for individualized strategies. Since we can’t always predict the exact stimuli or sensory relief they require at any given moment, we must remain adaptable and provide them with options. That’s why we are committed to creating a space equipped with sensory tools—to offer students the support they need when they feel overstimulated.

With your help, we can create "The Special Space We Need" — a sensory room filled with seating, foam blocks, calming lights, tactile tools, and movement equipment. This space will provide our students with the tools they need to succeed, both academically and emotionally.

Mr. Rodriguez will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by June 19.
