Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work at a Title 1 School with over 90% of students coming from families who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Opportunities to work with the newest technology are few and far between. I have made it my goal over the last few years to bring nothing but the best into my classroom so that my students have the opportunity to make music the way it was meant to be made - with fun and creativity!

Music helps our students thrive in today's society and we want to allow them to be exposed to music playing.

When given these opportunities, I have seen my students blossom in a way I have never seen before, and I want to continue to try and provide them with different ways to make their musical projects soar to new heights.

My Project

Our students look forward every year to the magic of participating in our school musical. Whether singing, dancing, or acting, Our biggest challenge has always been amplifying the students' voices live for our audience to enjoy. With the help of this wireless microphone system we are sure to empower our children as they present the product of many hours of learning and hard work. Also, our technical team of students will have a tremendous advantage as they learn and work with professional grade sound equipment. These materials will ensure our students have the proper tools for the musical and gain the much needed confidence to wow our patrons.
