I teach at a very small school, with an even smaller budget. My district does not provide ANY supplies for our classroom. If I want things like markers for my board, magnets to put up visuals or stickers to use as rewards, it either needs to come out of my music budget, or my own pocket. I do not get school supplies from parents like a classroom teacher does. My music budget is less than $2 a student and I need to use every penny to purchase musical instruments.
