My Students

So far I love that I have an energetic class that really wants to do the right thing for the teacher. They are excited about second grade and what we get to learn this year. Today I received so many hugs about how great their day was for the first day. I also had one that was excited to share a letter with me from his old teacher. They even understand my strange sense of humor. This year will be great.

My Project

Not every child can sit the same way. I noticed for my class several need room to move and wiggle. Sitting down and sitting still is difficult for them and it makes it hard for them to focus. These chairs for alternative seating will help the children focus and sit while still having some movement that isn’t distracting to the other children. My goal is to help every child succeed in some way this year; and I want to help kids in any way I can this year. That’s why I think these chairs will be very beneficial to them.
