My Project

As theatre educators, my students and I have always embraced the mantra "The Show Must Go On," and we are committed to rehearsing and preparing for productions while prioritizing the health and safety of our students and staff. As we approach the winter season, our vulnerability to illness, including not only the common cold and flu but also COVID-19, becomes a heightened concern. It is essential that we continue our work in a safe and hygienic environment.

Although the custodian cleans the spaces once a day, our students use these rooms multiple times each day, especially during rehearsals and performances.

Therefore, we will need additional supplies to clean and sanitize between uses and minimize the risk of illness.

The risks associated with COVID-19 heighten the need for vigilance in maintaining clean and safe spaces. In addition to regular cleaning, we will ensure that all students and guests have access to hand towels, wipes, and sanitizing stations to stay fresh and clean. With performances and projects planned throughout the year, we anticipate welcoming guests into our spaces. We want our theatre areas to be presentable, safe, and conducive to health and wellness.

Our ultimate goal is to create an environment where our students can continue to thrive artistically while staying safe. By organizing and maintaining a clean, health-focused space, we will ensure that our program can operate effectively without compromising the safety and well-being of our students, staff, or visitors. We hope this initiative will support our students' creative growth while ensuring their health is never at risk.

Therefore, we are requesting sanitizer, Lysol, clothes and various cleaning supplies.

We appreciate your support in helping us create a safe, welcoming space where "The Show Must Go On" — with health and safety at the forefront.
