This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 20 wonderful, enthusiastic, impressionable kindergarteners. One thing I love about teaching kindergarten is teaching them how to read. That's why I'm requesting the Decorative Squares Phonics Kit to support my students' literacy development.
I have recently been trained in the Science of Reading, and the Secret Stories method follows perfectly along with the research provided in my training; this kit has proved to be super successful in teaching young impressionable learners not only how to read but to make those strategies "stick" in their brains.
I would be so thankful to have these resources to provide my students with more opportunities for learning. Thank you for your consideration of donating to my project.
