Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The holiday season is all about giving back to those in need. Being at a title 1 school comes with many families who struggle to provide various items for their children. I would love to do something special for these students this year!

This holiday season, we would like to give our students warmth with their very own blanket.

Every kid tends to have something they sleep with that they hold near and dear to their heart. Something such as a blanket, toy, stuffed animal etc. Some of my students don't have beds to sleep in and have to make a small corner or various locations their "bed". I would love to gift each child with something they can hold near and dear to their heart during those cold nights or those nights where they need to feel safe.

My goal is to provide one blanket for each student and with your help we can do that! In addition I will go and personalize each blanket for each child with their name so they can have something to truly call theirs! I would love your help in making this holiday season special for my class!
