Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we approach the colder months we get more sneezing and need to sanitize the classroom. We are actively working on teaching our students how to blow their noses and cover their sneezes and coughs. The band-aids insure more time in the classroom and less time at the nurse for minor cuts and scrapes.

Part of our classroom work is building independence and shared responsibility for keeping the classroom clean.

The materials in this project ensure that each student is doing their part in helping to keep our classroom safe and clean especially as we enter cold and flu season.

Finally, the magnets help students have access to materials on the whiteboard that they can take down and use when needed. The gum will help my students monitor sensory needs too.
