My Project

We are excited to introduce our students to a series of books that focus on students' ability to sound out unknown words. This series of books allows upper-grade level students to read books that follow a sequence of phonics skills that teachers can remediate during small group instruction. These books help kids, including kids with dyslexia, read. By gradually progressing through phonemic awareness, students feel successful reading more challenging text. This series also offers learners additional resources, such as games and flashcards, that reinforce what they read.

Our goal is to ensure each student in grades 3-5 who finds reading challenging is equipped with the foundational reading skills to help them feel more successful.

These foundational skills include knowing what sound letters and letter combinations make and the ability to blend them to form words. When our students have these skills in their toolbox of knowledge, they will be able to read and comprehend complex text.

Our students have the determination and the courage to try new things. Students' confidence improves when they are given the tools to be successful. Our elementary students work hard to learn new skills and apply those capabilities across content areas. Reading complex texts is an essential ability they will use throughout their lives. We have amazing students who enjoy learning!
