This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very eager to learn. They are on their way to learning how to read. The "Rime Magic" Phonemic Awareness kit will help my students learn to recognize vowels and word families in words that will help them decode. The printer would help with printing out colorful posters and flashcards that could enhance learning by having resources and visuals. The "Teachers Pay Teachers" gift card would help to buy resources to enhance the program such as worksheets, flashcards, posters and more! While students are learning to read, they will be visiting the classroom library, where they can sit in a cozy bean bag, apply what they are learning, and enjoy reading books.
