My Students

No amount of experimentation can ever prove me right; a single experiment can prove me wrong.

The majority of my students are diagnosed learning disabled and they are all below grade level.

Even with those issues my students are eager to learn and excited about what the new day brings. My students function and retain information better when they are provided with a visual or and activity in conjunction with the lesson.

My Project

Due to budget restraints my school lost the science lab, science teacher and the kits needed to help students experiment. With the science kits I am requesting, students will be able to use what they learned in class and bring to life their thoughts. With these kits students will be able to create their own roller coaster and explain how it works after exploring the force and motion tub. Students will also be able to design and build simple series and parallel circuits by using components such as wires, batteries, and bulbs. My classroom can be transformed into a lab with children working on experiments and engaging with their classmates.

With your donation we can give my students a fair chance at learning and loving science.

My students will have an equal chance at learning and passing the state exam. We will be able to foster a love science with these hands on experiments and we might have the future scientist in my class. Lets take a subject that is often forgotten and introduce students to Eureka!
