My Project

Students will independently read and analyze the novel as well as cooperatively discuss events of the novel. They will also complete some research based activities. Students will understand the difference that a caring adult can have in a child’s life. Students will be able to make text to self as well as text to world references particularly for those at risk students. The goal is for this novel, The Other Wes Moore, is to have a profound impact on as many students as possible. This is a months long assignment which involves reading, analyzing, discussion, research and self reflection.
