This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to provide my sixth-graders with puzzles for a Puzzle Club. I'm excited to challenge their problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. I think it will be a fun and engaging way for them to learn and have some friendly competition. I'm looking forward to seeing how they work together and individually to solve the puzzles. This Club will not only enhance my sixth-graders problem-solving skills but also foster a sense of community and collaboration among the each of them.

I am hoping that through a Puzzles Club I can help my students in various ways.

I hope they can improve problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and cognitive abilities. By engaging with puzzles, my students can learn to think creatively and strategically, which can be beneficial in academic and real-world situations. Additionally, puzzles can enhance students' patience, persistence, and perseverance as they work through challenges. Moreover, solving puzzles can also boost my students' confidence and sense of accomplishment, ultimately contributing to their overall academic success and personal development.
