My Students

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and 35% of the school population are economically disadvantaged. With the current situation our country is facing with the pandemic, many of my students have been affected in some way. Many of my students' parents have been laid off from work and are now facing serious issues in the home.

As wonderful as it is to be with my students face to face during the school day and having them engage in physical activity during PE, this is a completely different situation, trying to find creative ways to have my students continue to be active physically from a distance is extremely frustrating.

I am looking for ways to continue to be the inspiration in their lives to have them continue with good health and fitness.

My Project

As an athletic director and coach, my goal is to be able to offer full support to a diverse range of coaches, athletes, and sports. Building on the students’ passion for serving young student-athletes and running a highly-successful athletic department is one of the most important tool to have successful athletes and something anyone can benefit from.

Running and doing some other physical activities is a great way to improve the girls' balance, footwork, spatial awareness, and so much more.

Comfortable shoes for running, as well as other activities, will enable the girls to move and perform their exercises correctly and comfortably. The benefits of running allows students strengthen their body parts other than the muscles, joints and ligaments used in their primary athletic activity. During exercise, any discomfort may lead to distraction, and the girls will get frustrated. Proper shoes and equipment, have an impact no matter what physical exercise they are doing, but especially running for the girls.
