My Project

Climate Change and sustainability are the key steps to a better future for our kids and our Earth! Students need to learn about the importance of making changes in order to make a difference.

Students learn best through hands-on activities and inquiry based learning.

These tools and materials will help us learn about why renewable energy is important. Then they dive into wind power and how turbines help us collect wind energy. Finally students will get to design wind turbine blades, where they investigate the best design that creates the most power. We will test the wind turbine blade designs by using blow dryers to spin the turbine and multimeters to help track the energy output. This project will focus on math, data collection, experimental design, as well as, sustainability.

My goal is for students to learn the importance of renewable energy and what role they can take on to make a difference in creating a sustainable future!
