This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting comic books to inspire their love of reading. Books allow children to stretch their imagination and provides a wonderful opportunity for them to connect to the world. My students are able to learn comprehension and build fluency when they are able to read books on a variety of topics that interest them.

My desire is to build a library that is filled with books that they enjoy so that they would be inspired to read independently.

Having a print rich environment will allow students to be able to choose books they love and will help them to enjoy reading.
