This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
All About Pre-Kindergarten
I am a special education teacher working in a high need community. My school is considered a barrier free school. There is a high range of special education students in my school.
Growing young minds is very important for the future. Learning begins at birth; however, many children in low income neighborhoods are not educationally stimulated. Pre-K is a very important grade in which shapes the future of students learning. The All About Pre-K curriculum resource will help me to expand these students minds. They will be exposed to rich knowledge that will assist them become brighter stars. Many people think Pre-K is only for socialization. It has been proven that if children are given exposure to letters, pictures, numbers etc. early in life that they tend to do better than children who have not been exposed to these things. Please assist me in growing these students minds by providing the materials listed.
Any exposure to education is of great importance to a pre-schooler. These materials will allow me to give these students the exposure they need to succeed in the future grades. The alphabet chart will get them ready for Kindergarten. The Pre-K curriculum prepares them for Kindergarten by exposing them to interesting topics about everyday life and their community. Many children struggle in the first grade with letter recognition. This can be prevented if they are exposed to letters at the earliest grade (Pre-K).
Please help me to make a difference in a child's life by providing these necessary materials. Pre-K is a very neglected grade when it comes to academics. I want to empower these students for the future. The difference these materials will make is a very important difference. Let's grow a seed into a bud so that it can become a plant later on. Thank you for your assistance.
