This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a new female Physical Education teacher in a school that consists of ONLY male Physical Education teachers. I want to be the change and remind girls that they can do whatever they set their mind to with no limits. I also want to provide a safe space for them, especially during their “time of the month”, so I want to provide resources and products that they may need. Sometimes going to males for these resources or other adults can be difficult to do so I’d like to provide comfort knowing they can come to me.
