My Project

Communication is at the heart of learning, and for my students who are nonverbal or minimally speaking, having the right tools can open doors to self-expression, engagement, and independence. The specific items we are requesting will provide essential support by enhancing their ability to communicate, interact, and participate in learning. Whether through assistive technology, sensory tools, or hands-on learning materials, these resources will create meaningful learning experiences tailored to their unique needs.

Our goal is to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Through this project, we aim to provide alternative communication tools that empower students to express themselves, support sensory needs to help students stay engaged and focused, and foster independence by encouraging interaction and participation in classroom activities.

Our students are incredible individuals with unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of experiencing the world. They communicate in different ways—through gestures, visuals, assistive devices, and more—but their voices are just as important. With the right resources, they can grow in confidence, develop essential skills, and connect with their peers and the world around them.
