My Students

Did you ever want to know why and how songs were created the way they were? My students would love to learn the theory behind music.

My students attend a Louisiana public magnet high school where their creativity and curiosity is nurtured and encouraged to flourish throughout their last years of school before college.

My band students yearn to find reasons why things are the way they are.

My Project

Using the proposed resources, my students will be able to learn why a piece of music is written the way it is. The information they will receive through this software will include ear training. My students will be able to listen to a piece of music and describe what is happening in detail with the correct terminology. They will learn the rules of composing music and possibly create their own masterpieces!

My students are eager to learn.

They are very passionate about music. This project will take their eagerness to learn and their passion about music and allow them to reach levels of learning and creativity that they might not get to experience ever again.
