Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 9th grade students wanted to put their creative thoughts and ideas to work. What better way than to have the students come together to create designs, logos, catchy phrases, or you name it and lock-in their ideas on a T-Shirt.

We need the Cricut explore and easy press for designs and the laminator for signage and advertisement.

This project will build skills related to entrepreneurship, communication, collaboration, team work, inventory, marketing, and even problem solving. The main goal is to build and obtain transferable skills, while earning funds towards their senior year activities. The small profit that will be earned will be used for the students senior dues. These dues include; graduation cap and gown, diploma cover, senior shirt, senior brunch/award ceremony, senior trip, and prom tickets.

My students are eager and excited to get started. They are so committed, that they have been working on design ideas for a few weeks. This is a joy to be a part of.

Ms. Evans will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 20.
