Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are located in the Marcy Projects section of Bed Stuy Brooklyn. We are a Title I school and 100% of my students qualify and take advantage of the meals program at my school.

They are the most awesome students anyone could ever ask for.

They are eager to learn and despite challenges learning in a digital environment, they are trying their very, very best. I teach PE and have been using digital tools to my advantage, but lack some really essential physical tools that would be a huge help in my distance learning environment.

My Project

Please help me create the most awesome distance learning experience ever! My students are great and they deserve the best experience. The materials will allow me to help my visual learners engage with me on such a higher level through their screens. The bright colors, when they give great answers, and awesome backdrop will really take my teaching visually to the next level. It has been rough creating everything on my own and improvising during these crazy times. I definitely know these materials will help greatly! Help us be awesome!
