My Students
My students are a diverse, multicultural, inquisitive, hard working, loving and all around special bunch. As a SETTS teacher, I work with both general education and special education students.
My students are all eager to learn and they learn best through hands-on interactive materials, as well as the basic essential tools needed for every productive classroom.
I love to watch their eyes light up when they learn something new and when they're actively engaged. My heart skips a beat when they are active participants in their learning. I am always looking for new and challenging ways to engage them. My goal is for all of my students to reach their learning goals while enjoying what they learn.
My Project
As a teacher i'm often asked how does my child become a better reader or students themselves ask. Well the more you read the better reader you become! Providing guided reading books that are on my kiddos reading level will ensure they are able to read books that they understand and can apply the reading strategies they are taught. The guided reading complete library will be a great edition to my classroom library but also for the kiddos to read at home and practice. Providing them with the opportunity to keep books at home or take them from school to home each week will greatly help their reading success!
