Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a fabulous group of first-grade students who I want to see every day and all day long in school. This school year, I want to reward perfect attendance for my students. I want to see their happy smiles when they hear the perfect attendance recognition on the morning announcement.

Students are successful when they are in school and incentives will motivate both the students and their families.

When students are in school they learn, and the more they learn, the more they earn.

I will use the items I am requesting to reward and motivate students for their attendance. Twice per week, two random students will earn treats. Every two weeks, all students who earned perfect attendance by coming to school on time and staying all day in school will receive a prize. When we complete a chart that spells PERFECT ATTENDANCE (17 days), all students will earn a treat.

I truly believe that with attendance incentives, my class will have perfect attendance, barring illness or any family emergencies.
