My Students

Our school is located in New York City.

Being a public school we have limited means. We are a group of well rounded hard working children who truly appreciate all that we have. Our school strives to meet the highest standards and holds reading as the highest skill afforded to all children.

My Project

We are looping together to fifth grade and are looking forward to exploring new topics and ideas. We need to expand our library in order to work toward the Common Core Learning Standards. Having a library that includes high interest topics and spans across reading levels will give all students the opportunity to expand their vocabularies, increase their knowledge base and broaden their horizons.

Reading is the key to all learning.

Sponsoring this project will allow for my students to continue their love for reading. We are avid readers who have read all of the books we have. Beginning the new school year with a revamped library will truly be a blessing.
