My Project

The dry-erase markers I'm requesting will significantly enhance student engagement and participation in our "building thinking classroom" for math. With these markers, students can actively engage in problem-solving, collaborate on solutions, and visually represent their mathematical thinking on whiteboards. This hands-on approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and peer learning, ultimately deepening their understanding of mathematical concepts. My goals for this project include creating an interactive and dynamic learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and communicate their mathematical ideas effectively. What makes my students special is their diverse mathematical knowledge, unique perspectives, and innate curiosity. They thrive when given the opportunity to actively participate in their learning journey and contribute to a supportive classroom community.
