Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

When you enter my classroom, you will meet the future artist, teacher, police officer, and author. You will meet students who bring their all to my room despite what may be going on at home. Even on the hardest days, I am encouraged by the determination and happiness that my students bring to my room each and every day.

My kids inspire me to be the best that I can be, so I can help them reach the best they can be.

My Project

To develop a love of reading students need to have authentic, interesting, and engaging texts. Books I have included in my project are sure to engage and interest he many diverse students I have in my classroom. Help us travel the world, by finding the perfect book. When students have books they want to read, they begin to develop a love for reading. In a low income school, where many of my kids are below grade level, it is important to engage them in as much authentic reading as possible in order to help them grow. These books will be the difference my students need.
