My Students

I have a very enthusiastic, cheerful, hard-working group of 6-year-olds who love to learn! They are super motivated, which allows them to be engaged in learning the content. Each one of my students is a kinesthetic learner, so it takes a lot of material to help them in their learning experiences. Each day they come in the classroom asking what activities they are going to be doing, which tells me they are excited to learn!

These students are from very low-income families and do not get the experiences at home that we can provide at school with your help.

These students are the future and we owe it to them to create as many opportunities as we can to broaden their horizons.

My Project

They need magnetic letters, lego sets, and bookstands. This project includes supplies that will reach all learning styles. Students at the age of 6 need materials that will help them focus on the content. I have been able to get to know my students and learn their interests. These supplies will create exciting and engaging moments for my students. These supplies will take the place of worksheets during reading. During reading, children can use magnetic letters and trays to blend and segment letter sounds they are learning so they become better decoders. The lego set will be used as an incentive.
