My Students

"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try ,"Â" Dr. Seuss. Help build my students creativity and excitement about learning.

My students are eager to learn new things and be creative.

My school is a Title one school in New York City and my students get free breakfast and lunch. Many of my students are English as a second language learners. My fourth grade class has 32 children of different abilities and they love school.

My Project

Help us be creative when presenting our ideas about what we read and study. My students need craft supplies such as paper, craft sticks, scissors, and pens. When writing during writing workshop we can create books and posters to share our work. When reading biographies we will be able to create puppets of the people we read about and create skits and interviews using our puppets. During social studies and math we can create posters showing what we have learned about and share them with others. My students often work in groups when creating their projects and this helps build not only their creativity but their cooperation skills and problem solving skills. The possibilities to build my students creativity are endless.

Please help fill my classroom with these wonderful supplies and allow my students the opportunity to be creative and work together in a group to share their many brilliant ideas with others.
