Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The looms and knitting machine will help the students have an understanding of how clothes are made, giving them a better appreciation of the clothes they wear and encourage them to have an interest in understanding how these machines work. The Looms and Knitting Machine are designed to encourage children's development of creativity, fine-motor skills, problem-solving skills, finger dexterity and concentration. Weaving also helps expand basic mathematical proficiency by making them count the steps they take while knitting. They will develop recognition in colors, shapes, and measurements, inspiring their imagination with their creations.
