Help Ms. Huie

I teach kindergarten at a public school. We are a K-8 school, with an enrollment of over 550 students. All of the children at our school are learning Chinese as a second language.

Kindergarten children have trouble keeping their hands and feet to themselves because they don't yet understand about personal space. With bathroom accidents and spills from previous years, stains have been left leaving the carpet looking very soiled.

An organizational carpet will help tremendously with classroom management. It will provide every child their own special seat allowing enough space between them. With the different colored rows, it will help reduce the amount of time it takes to dismiss children to work at classroom centers, divide children into teams/groups, and direct children to line up in an orderly fashion.

With your help, you will make it possible for my students to begin the year with a new start. A new carpet will complete the feel. It will help the children get along better and focus on what's important - the lesson!
