My Project

Hi Donors,

My name is Moriam Bolaji, and I am a Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) teacher at a Title I school in East New York, Brooklyn.

My students face various challenges, but they are incredibly resilient and eager to learn. Many of them struggle with foundational reading skills, which impact their confidence and overall academic success.

This year, I am using The Wilson Reading System, a research-based program designed to improve phonological awareness and teach the building blocks of reading. My goal is to provide my students with the tools they need to develop their decoding skills and strengthen their reading abilities.

To support this effort, I am seeking donations to fund a collection of books that will allow my students to practice the skills they are mastering in real-world contexts. These books will not only reinforce their learning but also foster a love for reading as they see themselves making progress.

Your donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact on my students’ reading journey. With your support, we can help them build the confidence and skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Warm regards,

Moriam Bolaji
