My Project

My students come from diverese backgrounds within an urban environment. The social and cultural intricacies of my students are rich and dynamic. Their eagerness about life within and beyond their urban environment is filled with inquisitiveness. The literature material I am requesting for my class affords my students the opportunity to experience literature through mediums beyond technology. The high-interest literature, and multicultural awareness, coupled with grounded science literature expose my students to experiences that allow them to build richness in their questioning and writings of the world while creating authenticity in seeking knowledge through literature and voice in their writing.
