A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach at a middle school with 1,500+ students. Students love to come to the library to study, create and relax. Distance learning has made visiting the physical library space impossible. I want to bring the library space to them. This is one way students can feel connected and engaged even from home. If the activity involves a game, my eager students would love to unlock the possibilities!
My Project
The school wide Breakout EDU platform will allow all students and staff to collaborate safely and utilize their Social Emotional Learning skills. Breakout EDU puts the community back into school. Everyone works together for a common goal, even if it's done safely from home. This platform works digitally and also when we return to the physical school space. Breakout EDU gives students who struggle a chance to finally show what they can do as they make connections, analyze puzzles from different perspectives and work together to solve a problem. This platform allows students to continue learning in a "game" format that motivates all middle school students to participate!
