My Students

Describing my students is simple, selfless. I take care of all the students beginning in the 8th grade and ending with the 12th grade. We are now at the age of trying to understand the importance of hygiene! My goal is to give my students the absolute best care and understanding of hygiene. My students come to me during the day for help and guidance on all personal needs. I am hoping to fill the need of my students. Most of my students in the community come from low-income or single-parent homes. I am just trying to make a difference! Thank you!

My Project

This project will help introduce economic concepts in the history class. They will learn about personal finance, choices, whether involving money, how to spend a summer afternoon, or other decisions, have benefits and costs. The teacher and students will read The Lemonade War, in order to fully understand all of the new economic terms. The students will start up a small lemonade stand in their classroom to fully understand the market for lemonade versus coffee that the counselor sales down the hall. The money that the students make will be used to buy them special treats and refurbish their supplies.
