This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As a 3rd-year 2nd grade teacher, my love and passion for the job and the students tend to grow each year. The success of my students is always my biggest focus.

This project will allow me to create a classroom that is a space of safety, fun, learning, and coziness.

The resources included in my project will help students reach their fullest potential, as I have the goal of building strong readers. The hands-on games and manipulatives will allow students to improve their math skills for the next grade.

Being that I have a highly diverse population, I want to meet the needs of each learner. The cushions and colorful baskets are for my reading area, my goal is to create a cozy, colorful reading center where students can relax but also read.
