Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We left school on March 13th believing we would return in r two weeks. It has now been 7 weeks! Students left with materials to last only two weeks. My class comes from a low-social economy background and therefore, it will be nearly impossible for students to obtain supplies they will need to complete classwork. Despite this Covid-19 Pandemic, my students are eager to continue their learning via Distance Learning.

My Project

Many of my students do not have the necessary supplies and materials to be able to complete their assignments at home. I want students to be able to use other writing tools, not just pencil. Student will be able to make their assignments a lot more interesting and colorful if they have access to various writing tools. They can do this with the use of pens, crayons, markers, and why not? Watercolors! Students may also use these supplies and materials to doodle in their spare time versus sitting in front of a screen for long hours!
