My Students

Our school believes in the concept that we are one big FAMILY. Even though our students come from varying social and economic backgrounds, we consider them all our children. We are lucky that we are a K-8 school. We cultivate them early in kindergarten and throughout the years we provide them with the necessary skills for high school, college, and their future.

My students are highly excited to incorporate the latest technology in the classroom.

We want to experience the many wonders that STEM can offer us.

My Project

Students will be using the LEGO Spike and accompanying software to code robots to accomplish various challenges. My students have been using the LEGO EV3 kits for a while and are excited to try the latest in LEGO education/technology.

This project would significantly help my students understand the concept of the "scientific method" when coding/ programming.

This is the true foundation of scientific thinking and discovery.

After each challenge, students become better problem-solvers. These new skills can be used in their everyday lives as well as their academic endeavors.

In addition, the LEGO Kit is aligned to the new science and STEM standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn robotics and programming skills that are aligned with our state standards. My students will have fun while learning.
