Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials on the list are the last items our soccer team would need. Our young soccer Lions are playing against other schools in the Bronx. They are always practicing every Saturday for roughly 2 hours. We walk to the other school that has a regulated soccer field that is about 20 minutes away from our own school in order to participate in the games. The socks are an important part of their uniforms, as they are supposed to help keep their shin guards in place while running around the field aiming for that GOAL. The next item is the gloves for our goalies. We want them to keep their hands safe and make sure the sweat doesn't let them "drop the ball"(LOL). Since our school does not have a soccer field and we travel to another that does, the wagon we are asking for will help us transport the necessary equipment and will be a great place for storing all the students and soccer items. Lastly, the cooler is a very important item for our players. The field is outside and they will be playing under the unforgiving sun, especially as the summer approaches; they will need storage for all the water they may drink and keep their lunches from spoiling. We will be grateful for any support that we may get, if it's a donation or sharing our project. We all thank you in advance. PEACE, LOVE and GOOOAAALLLLL!
