My Project

Board games are an excellent way for middle schoolers to escape the screens of their cell phones and Chromebooks during free time and school enrichment days and interact and talk to each other! GASP!

My classroom and school need a variety of board games to meet the unique needs of our students.

Most of my students are neurodivergent and need support to learn social skills and improve their executive function. Board games are an excellent way to disguise learning by giving the students organic opportunities to build relationships, Improve mental health and teaching strategy, develop cognitive function, develop language, and improve attention.
