My Project

First let me state that it's such a pleasure knowing that an organization, people, and a platform such as this exists.

I currently work as a grade four (4) teacher in a collaborative teacher team classroom.

We have students that have special academic needs. The items placed in the cart will be used to improve gaps in mathematical learning. The multiplication flash cards will be part of our daily math center. Many of our students will use these materials to build multiplication fluency.

Our class and school also lacks basic material. The wipes will be used to keep our work space clean. The mobile white board will be used to teach smaller groups within the class. Much of the work provided to students is printed. Paper, ink and pencils are resources that always need to be replenished. The chart paper will be used to create anchor charts and other visuals for students and our english language learners.

We are a Title 1 school and some of our students are coming from low income house holds. Others are in temporary housing programs. Inspite of their personal situations. Our scholars come to school and are enthusiastic about learning. Which makes this opportunity exciting for me as well. I now have been introduced to a resource that helps me to help my students.
