My Project

Thanks so much in advance for your generous donation to our classroom library. My students are part of a new program where students on the Spectrum can obtain a General Education in a small, specialized self-contained classroom. I'm hoping to provide Joy to my students as I read these story books to them during circle time and/or during guided reading sessions. Such books as The Name Jar, All Are Welcome, We Are Family, The Sour Grape, First Day Jitters, etc. Your donation will allow me to provide my students with rich and engaging lessons about being accepted, how to work together as a group, how it's okay to be nervous the first day or week of school, and each name is special. These books will not only be read to them, but students will have opportunities to revisit them individually as they journey through our classroom library or investigate our book of the week display area. Please give my students more rich and engaging reading experiences.
